I was born and raised in Christchurch, NZ and have had a passion for the arts since I was a child. I started painting/drawing classes 6 years, and at 9 years old, enrolled at Art Metro Art School, where I stayed until the age of 17. I focused on painting with oils, which are my favourite medium. As a sort of finale, I had an exhibition of my artworks here at Art Metro before moving on to focus on my other interests for a few years.

Having a passion for animals and the outdoors, I studied a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Canterbury which I graduated from in 2019. I continued to foster my love for painting during my studies by completing some commissioned artworks. During my second year of study, I approached Simon looking for casual work and he soon had me teaching classes in drawing and now painting.

Having travelled to Europe over the summer of 2019-2020, I returned to NZ newly inspired by the incredible artwork I had the pleasure of observing at galleries in countries like Italy, France and Austria.

Currently, alongside teaching here at Art Metro, I study theology at Laidlaw Bible college and work as an administrator at Grace Vineyard Church.
